Pre-Engineered Metal Building Design/Build Process
When you are considering the type of delivery method for your next project Design/Build tightly integrates the design and construction processes. Partnering with an architect at the onset of the project, CBK Construction acts as the client’s single-point contact, from scope definition to project completion.
As we start the process of learning about your project, we work alongside our architect to provide a structure that fits your needs and considers obstacles or hidden costs before construction begins. Our team works together to provide a prefabricated steel structure that will provide a cost-effective design.
The Design/build delivery method is particularly well suited for highly time- and budget-sensitive projects. This method allows for both fast-track construction (construction can begin while later-stage elements are still being designed) and a significant degree of value-engineering—the process of selecting budget-conscious architectural and mechanical elements during the design and subcontractor bidding phases.
Industrial/Commercial metal buildings are a big capital expenditure. We will give you honest pricing and leverage our over 30-year experience in providing quality steel structures in Michigan that keep our project on time and on budget.
